CEE’S FUN FOTO CHALLENGE: EVENTS
Our Day exploring the Christmas decoration windows at Macy’s and Lord & Taylor! You will also find photos of Sylvester examining my new cat slippers. (Kinda looks like him, dontcha think?) Stephen got Frog slippers. We purchased our Holiday goodies at Bryant Park Winter Village which features many Holiday vendors. I also took a picture of their Christmas Tree which is near the skating rink. Nobody was ice skating since it is way too warm & the ice is melting. We briefly went inside Macy’s but since it was totally chaotic we made a mad dash back outside. Lord & Taylor was more welcoming with a lot less shoppers. We lingered taking photos of both L&T’s Christmas windows and the decorations inside the store. The NYPL The New York Public Library Lions also known as Patience & Fortitude are wearing Wreaths to celebrate the Holiday Season. Cheers to All!!

During this Christmas Season I stand with my Muslim Sisters and Brothers against prejudice, racism, bias and bigotry. All Peoples are Welcome in the Kingdom of God!! The United States of America! Out of many Peoples We are One!!

Part Two
Soulful Strut ~~ Herkimer Street. Today I walked along Herkimer Street from Utica to Atlantic Avenues. #Brooklyn
Brooklyn is known as the Borough of Churches so on today’s Soulful Strut, 12/7/2015 I decided to focus on churches during my walk. As you can see many of these churches started in the 1800s. Fascinating architecture! Also many churches have Soup Kitchens and Food Pantries which help feed local communities. Many people criticize the church but for all it’s faults and flaws many people in the neighborhood depend on churches for food, clothing and other types of social service assistance. Many people who are in need of good healthy food do not qualify for government Food Stamps so they must depend on the House of God to feed themselves and their families.
Veterans, the elderly, children, the disabled, poor, working class and anyone in need can get food in New York City. Praise God for the church and the ministry of Jesus which commands us to feed the hungry!
As you can see I’ve also snapped photos of other buildings and items that caught my fancy. My Cat Fancy included! LOL! Enjoy!

Pitkin Promenade
#Brooklyn #Brownsville Today’s Soulful Strut took me from Rockaway Avenue over to Pitkin Avenue and completing my promenade at Pennsylvania Avenue. I Love Architecture. I always wonder what old buildings once housed before new stores or people took them over. Buildings have a history and are always speaking to us if we only listen.
