DeBorah & Stephen Holiday Soulful Strut

Today Stephen and I took advantage of the 50 degree temps and mild weather to take in the Holiday Sights/Sites and Sounds of Manhattan.  I featured some photos in my previous post but here are some quirky and fun things we spotted while walking from 42nd Street Grand Central Terminal as we made our way towards 34th Street Penn Station.  From East to West and All the Best!

Happy Holidays! Happy Hanukkah! Merry Christmas!  Joyful Kwanzaa & Happy New Year!

Grand Central Terminal Holiday Market & Model Train Display Exhibit

Please excuse the quality of the videos. I’m still an amateur video person. Please Do Enjoy Stephen’s Great Smile and the wonderful Sights/Sites and Sounds of the Grand Central Terminal Holiday Market and the fascinating Model Train Display.  The Video of the Holiday Market came out upside down and backwards and no amount of editing seems to help. Anyway please Enjoy the other videos and photos. I must re-do the Holiday Market.  Yes. I know I have a lot to learn when it comes to creating videos!

The video of the Holiday/Christmas Windows featured at the Department Store Lord & Taylor came out very well.  Happy Hanukkah and Merry Christmas to All!  Happy Kwanzaa to all my African American Followers/Subscribers!

It’s Not This Time of Year Without…

Holiday Decorations and Parties

Show us the one thing without which your holiday season could never be complete.

Christmas Holiday Window Decorations

I’ve yet to get to Macy’s or Lord & Taylor this year but as soon as I do I will post their current Holiday Windows. Also located next to the New York Public Library 42nd Street is the Christmas Village Market where you can buy gifts for Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa.
Here is a link to our Christmas Village Holiday Market Adventures of last year. Poor Stephen!  He’s always stuck posing for my crazy photos! Such an Awesome and Incredible Autism Guy!    https://goo.gl/photos/T6CqzTtvminKgaBq6
Here are some Christmas Holiday Decorations from stores along Madison Avenue.

Here are some photos from the December 2015 Holiday Season.

Then of course there are the Holiday Parties and other types of Holiday Decorations to be found around New York City.

Part III: People, Places & Things

If you want to share a literal image of the actual word, do that. But if you’d rather play with word association, post something that reminds you of the specific word, or something you use the word for, do so. It only has to make sense to you. Have fun and keep on photographing!

This week’s word is Deer!

There are deer in upstate New York but since I live in Brooklyn, New York and cannot take the bus or train to visit Bambi’s rural relatives these weird looking deer from a past Brooklyn Museum special exhibit will have to do!

Oh Dear! More Strange Deer

Bullwinkle’s Kin?

Maybe not a Deer? Perhaps one of Bullwinkle’s Cousins?!

New York as Holiday Village

Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Events

CEE’S FUN FOTO CHALLENGE: EVENTS

Our Day exploring the Christmas decoration windows at Macy’s and Lord & Taylor!  You will also find photos of Sylvester examining my new cat slippers. (Kinda looks like him, dontcha think?)  Stephen got Frog slippers. We purchased our Holiday goodies at Bryant Park Winter Village which features many Holiday vendors. I also took a picture of their Christmas Tree which is near the skating rink. Nobody was ice skating since it is way too warm & the ice is melting. We briefly went inside Macy’s but since it was totally chaotic we made a mad dash back outside. Lord & Taylor was more welcoming with a lot less shoppers. We lingered taking photos of both L&T’s Christmas windows and the decorations inside the store. The NYPL The New York Public Library Lions also known as Patience & Fortitude are wearing Wreaths to celebrate the Holiday Season.  Cheers to All!!
