Thanks! As a kid I watched Jiminy Cricket sing that song every weekend. I was a big Disney fan. Later as an adult I visited both Disney Land in California and Disney World in Florida. Still had the magic for me. Another great song was contributed on a previous comment. Catch a Falling Star by the late great singer Perry Como is a lovely tune! ❤
I love Disney World but only visited when I was already grown up. But it was a lot of fun doing it with my kids then! And I still love it!!! Yes, I know that song too. I sang it once together with my combo!

One of my favorite childhood songs. Back then I really believed that wishes came true.
They do come true 😉 Back home in The Bahamas during the summertime it’s not unusual to see falling stars. As a child we would lie on the beach at night and count them as they fell.
Once I wished to play with the Little Rascals aka Our Gang. Now at that time in the 1960s I didn’t realize that those kids from the 1930s were adults or dead. However my wish was granted and that night I dreamed I was playing with them.
However when my dog Dolly died and then when my Grandmother passed away no amount of wishing could bring them back. My only hope to see all my family members and pets who have died is to make Heaven my home.
I look forward to being reunited with Loved ones humans and pets
