Results of Hurricane Sandy 2012
The Wind Literally ripped decades old trees right out of the ground where I used to live. At that time I was living in an apartment complex called Rochdale Village located in Jamaica, Queens, New York.

Orange
I Love the Color Orange and was Fortunate to capture many depictions of Orange for this Fall/Autumn/Halloween Season. Orange is a color with Spice, Brilliance and warmth all resonating and mingling together. Orange is a Happy Color! ❤ 🙂 😀 ❤

My Ancestors ~~ My Heritage
I find my Identity in Them
These are Ancestor Heritage photos were mostly taken during the 19th Century not too long after Civil War. Mostly from my Dad’s side mainly Dad’s Mom, My Grandmother Eva Gordon Palmer. Others were taken during the 1940s and 1950s.
The more recent ones especially those with my parents, Stephen and me were taken during between 1959 when I was born up to and including the early 1990s.
Here is a Family Collage I made back in 2012.

My Love Affair with Indian Hair Products
My Love Affair with Indian Hair Products
Many African-American Ladies myself included have discovered the benefits of Indian Hair Oils and Hair products. Obviously African hair is different from Indian hair and we don’t expect our hair to change texture. That is not the purpose. The purpose is to have healthier hair. Fortunately we live in a multi-cultural society especially if you live in New York City like I do. Also the hair videos by African America and African British Women on YouTube really show how all of us can borrow and learn beauty tips from other cultures to improve our hair, skin and nails.
