How quiet it looks. Compared to TV scenes I’ve seen filmed here. (Except CSI New York when its dark!) 😉
It rained Monday morning so many people probably stayed inside to keep dry. By the around 2:30 in the afternoon as I was walking through the rain had ended and people were starting to come out. Sunday when I walked across the park there were a lot more people as you can see from the previous photos. I even got to enjoy an impromptu Jazz Band!!
Being a Woman I never ever walk through Central Park after dark. Not a good idea. Central Park goes from 59th Street all the way to 110th Street. The Police can’t be everywhere and I don’t believe in risk. I do all my walks during the daylight hours.
Jazz in the park. That sounds great. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if women could be as free as men to wander around. Even 50 years ago in my home town in Scotland I was always looking over my shoulder when walking home from train station when I got last train home after a night out.
Thanks. Glad you enjoy my Central Park series. Sadly no matter where you live in this world if you are female and out at night or in a dangerous area you take your life into your hands. When I was younger my boyfriend and I used to hang out in Washington Square Park until the wee hours of the morning. But I was with him and he took me home. Now I’m way too old to be hanging out in parks after dark and even if I did have a boyfriend we would be somewhere inside or better yet home asleep. ❤
Excellent which way photo for this week 😀 😀
Thanks. Many pathways in Central Park. 🙂 😀 ❤
