Oh, I remember these and how some guys would walk around holding one on their shoulder with the music blasting out. It can’t have done their hearing much good, but I suppose we can say the same thing about headphones when the volume is turned up high.
I remember those days also. Boomboxes were also an important part of Break-dancing contests.
