This historic graveyard is near to the World Trade Center and the place that housed and helped many First Responders.  September 11 ~~ 9/11.  We Remember those who perished and those who risked/gave their lives to save others.   Respect.

This series I call Odd Twists meaning we are looking for the bizarre and the common things we don’t always take photos of.  This week the topic is Fire Trucks, Fire Houses, Fire Hydrant basically anything to do with putting fires out.  Use your imagination for this theme.  The thing is to have a lot of fun with this challenge.

This is the local neighborhood fire department for where I live in Brooklyn.  I salute these Ladies and Gentlemen. Yes we do have Women Firefighters.

I added Fire escapes which I guess are unique to New York.
