Service Sunday

Today marks 100 years since the End of World War I. In the United States today is Veterans Day for the rest of the world I believe it’s called Remembrance Day.

For whatever you call it in your country today in fact this entire weekend including tomorrow Monday is the time we Honor our Veterans and especially remember those who died during World War I.

My Dad Edward Palmer served during the Korean War. He passed away in 1995 at age 65.

I was in the United States Army from November 1977 to November 1981. Did my Basic training and AIT at Ft. Jackson, SC. My first assignment was to the 569th Personnel Service Company in Augsburg, Germany. Then my next and final assignment station was the 101st Airborne Division aka The Screaming Eagles.

Castles become ashes burnt in the sand. Speaking in Tongues didn’t raise Her up. For She was sold for thirty pieces of tarnished silver yet Her skin remained Burnished Bronze.

Desperate for escape She slashed Her Limbs on the Spider’s Web.

Then She became a Tree, then a Universe for it mattered not what others thought.

She did up Her Bloody bandages continuing her Voyage Guided by Arboreal Voices. Limbs and Leaves gave succour binding together jagged sounding wounds.

Remember that the Rivers are filled with Souls awaiting Ascension
