34th Street Nocturnes
The Giant Turkey is gone. However I do like the Big Red Fox in the H&M Store Window.
Cool.
Today Stephen and I took advantage of the 50 degree temps and mild weather to take in the Holiday Sights/Sites and Sounds of Manhattan. I featured some photos in my previous post but here are some quirky and fun things we spotted while walking from 42nd Street Grand Central Terminal as we made our way towards 34th Street Penn Station. From East to West and All the Best!
Happy Holidays! Happy Hanukkah! Merry Christmas! Joyful Kwanzaa & Happy New Year!
Please excuse the quality of the videos. I’m still an amateur video person. Please Do Enjoy Stephen’s Great Smile and the wonderful Sights/Sites and Sounds of the Grand Central Terminal Holiday Market and the fascinating Model Train Display. The Video of the Holiday Market came out upside down and backwards and no amount of editing seems to help. Anyway please Enjoy the other videos and photos. I must re-do the Holiday Market. Yes. I know I have a lot to learn when it comes to creating videos!
The video of the Holiday/Christmas Windows featured at the Department Store Lord & Taylor came out very well. Happy Hanukkah and Merry Christmas to All! Happy Kwanzaa to all my African American Followers/Subscribers!

These are Ancestor Heritage photos were mostly taken during the 19th Century not too long after Civil War. Mostly from my Dad’s side mainly Dad’s Mom, My Grandmother Eva Gordon Palmer. Others were taken during the 1940s and 1950s.
The more recent ones especially those with my parents, Stephen and me were taken during between 1959 when I was born up to and including the early 1990s.

More beautiful gorgeous and wonderful Watercolors from Tanya from Montreal.
WATERCOLORS
My Artist buddy who displays her artwork at 14th street Union Square Subway station.
Tanya is seeking to rent a room in an area safe for young Ladies. If you have a reasonable price room close to Manhattan please email me at deborah.palmer280@gmail.com and I will contact Tanya. Thanks.
Working as a museum security guard I don’t have much to give but I always make sure that Tanya has a few dollars. Tanya has a spirit of Gratitude and Thankfulness. We now share emails about once a week.
54 “Sing, barren woman,
you who never bore a child;
burst into song, shout for joy,
you who were never in labor;
because more are the children of the desolate woman
than of her who has a husband,”
says the Lord.

Here is more artwork from my 14th Street Union Square buddy Tanya from Montreal, Canada. One of the great things about working the evening/late shift is meeting subway artists who are displaying and selling their artworks on or around the subway station. Tanya is a lovely French Canadian young lady from Montreal. I’m always happy to see and talk with her. I try to give her a couple of dollars because I know how difficult life is for young people. She is a Blessing.
