Cee’s Which Way Photo Challenge – February 1, 2017

This challenge is all about capturing the roads, walks, trails, rails, steps, etc. we move from one place to another on.  You can walk on them, climb them, drive them, ride on them, as long as the specific way is visible.  Any angle of a bridge is acceptable as are any signs.

There won’t ever a topic to this challenge.  All you need have is the “way” visible and the main focus of your photo.

Feel free to dig around in your archives for photos if you don’t have anything new you can photograph.

Overwhelming

This can be an overwhelming yet fun and enjoyable selection of Coca-Cola sodas. Gives new meaning to the old TV commercial jingle, “Things Go Better with Coke!”

Solitude

This week, show us what being alone means to you.

“Solitude is the place of purification.” — Martin Buber

Many people equate solitude with loneliness, but I find it comforting and restorative. Because of social media’s ubiquity, we are constantly connected to others. Even when we are physically alone, we are very rarely truly solitary. Unplugging is good, and introspection is important, but most of us don’t get enough opportunity to do either.

Oddball Anachronism Phones in the Museum

Anachronism Phones in the museum. Visitors actually think that they are art installations and/or Special Exhibits. To tell the truth I’ve yet to see any visitors actually use the phone to make calls. Instead I’ve found baby strollers/carriages parked in them!! LOL!!

These rather incomplete phone booths provide no coverage or privacy for George Reeves to change from Clark Kent to Super man!

Those of you who are Baby Boomers remember the original “Man of  Steel. ”

I believe that this particular phone is or can be used by the deaf / hearing impaired.
