Espiritu en Fuego/A Fiery Spirit
As many of my loyal readers already know I am a big fan of Manic Panic by Tish and Snooky.
For the past few months I’ve been rocking Manic Panic Vampire Red. This past week I received an email from Manic Panic telling me of a new shade of Red named Manic Panic Rock ‘ N ‘ Roll Red selling for only $10 dollars. Naturally I ordered one jar and it came in the mail a few days ago.
I have applied this new shade of Red combined with the leftovers from the previous one.
Do you notice any difference in my hair shade or color from Feb/March photo posts? Looking at these pics I do notice my hair has grown since I cut my hair in February. Now I’m just gonna let my Afro extend to the sky even though…

This is the second week of my current series, which I call The Seasons and Elements. Hopefully this series will bring out our creative side with some unique perspectives and ways of looking at things. This week the topic is Summer – Fire.
After Spring we move into the active time of Summer. This is the energy of Fire, the time of activity, warmth, movement, growth and relationship. Nature itself is moving, the plants are growing, animals are getting ready to produce young and things are busy. — 5 Elements of Nature
You can take photos of anything that relates to the seasons of Summer or anything to do with Fire. If you are wondering, the sun does count as fire in this case. Have fun with this challenge. Use your imagination for this theme. The thing is to have a lot of fun with this challenge.
Go through you photo archives and see what photos you have that fits the current week’s challenge, or better yet grab you camera and take a new photo! ENJOY and have FUN.
Sally D’s Mobile Photography Challenge: Nature (and a Bonsai Photomontage)
This is the local community garden around the corner from where I live. It is maintained by the senior citizens and retirees. They do an excellent job. It has been cleaned from winter’s icy grit and grime and prepared for planting. The Elders in the Community plant edibles as well as flowers. Not sure where the funds come from to maintain the garden however I think they sell some of what they grow or they put in their own money or perhaps the City of New York makes monetary contributions.
As we get more into spring then summer I will be taking more photos.
All photos taken with my Samsung Galaxy.

Cee’s Odd Ball Challenge (COB) is all about those great photos that you take which really don’t seem to fit into a common category. We’ve all taken them and like them, because we just can’t hit delete and get rid of them.
There is never a theme to this challenge, so what is an odd ball is all up for you to discover and photograph.
